With the Western Sydney International Airport on track to begin operations, Penrith is preparing for significant growth, with its economic catchment expected to grow by more than one million people by 2031.
In anticipation of the tourism and economic boost, a group of local business owners along High Street have come together to establish The Valley Entertainment Precinct – an initiative focused on creating a vibrant, safe, 24-hour destination in the heart of Western Sydney.
District Coordinator Jessica Jenkins said the initiative was made possible through support and funding under the NSW Government's Uptown Program.
The precinct is designed to support the long-term growth and revitalisation of Penrith’s CBD.
