UTS are excited to announce that applications are now open for UTS Library’s Creative in Residence 2026. The program is now running for its 15th year, and UTS is calling all creatives to come play!
You will have 6 months to bring your vision to life.
Whatever you manifest will become a special part of the UTS Library’s culture and identity.
To compensate you for your time, energy, and actual art making and superannuation UTS Library offer a remuneration of $15,000.
You will receive $5000 material budget to make your concept a reality.
In search of their 2026 Creative in Residence soul mate, UTS Library are looking for someone who:
Is willing to work in the UTS Library at least once a week for 16 weeks (or equal to) so the community can see you in action.
Is excited to engage with the community, culture and spaces.
Is ready to participate in all kinds of events and activities.
Will successfully deliver their creative vision.
Residency applications are open to all and applicants do not need to be affiliated with UTS to apply.
Applications close 5pm AEDT Monday 3 November 2025
Successful applicant notified by early December 2025
6-month residency to take place April - September 2026
