Inner West Council supports artists and performers, and values the vibrancy, vitality and cultural expression of urban areas.
Bring the streets of the Inner West to life and share live music, performance and creativity with the community. Busking is welcome across key streets and centres in the Inner West Local Government Area, giving artists the chance to perform in open, high-foot-traffic spaces that invite people to stop, listen and engage.
Registration is free and, once approved, a one-year permit allows performers to busk in suitable public locations such as plazas, wide footpaths and public seating areas, helping create vibrant, welcoming streetscapes for locals and visitors alike.
