Are you passionate on food with a diverse heritage and a bubbly personality? Mia Cucina Food Tours is seeking dynamic individuals to join our Mia Cucina community, with a cultural background ie Vietnamese, Turkish, Lebanese, Italian, Indian, Greek, Persian and Asian backgrounds, to host food tours, showcasing your rich history and sharing your families’ stories, of the past.

As a Mia Cucina Food Guide, you’ll lead engaging walking food tours through your local suburb, exploring and sampling the best local diverse food, and engaging with our clients.

Criteria:

• Have a diverse, rich background in any culture, that offers an appealing food experience.

• Enthusiastic and passionate on food, sharing your rich knowledge of the local cuisine, sharing stories, recipes, and engaging with our clients.

• Professional in providing high-quality customer service, ensuring clients' needs and safety are prioritised throughout the tour.

• Speak confidently and knowledgeably about the food, the culture, and its traditions. We have developed the food trail and we will provide you training.

• The ability to solve any issues that may arise on tour, providing a quick and calm resolution.

• Promote the Mia Cucina brand, encouraging reviews and being proactive in social media opportunities, your Food Tours on socials.

• Proficient in English, with an assertive personality and a positive and friendly disposition to work closely with vendors and suppliers.

• Submit timesheets and receipts promptly for payment.

• This role is casual, and you will require a Tax File Number to apply.
