Fairfield Showground offers two high-quality sports venues suitable for major games, tournaments, training camps, and community sporting events. Both fields are purpose-built, professionally maintained, and supported by extensive on-site facilities.
Available facilities include:
Synthetic Football Field
A full-size synthetic football pitch with amenities within Fairfield Showground. The all-weather field is a multi-sport, all-weather sports facility.
The field is certified by FIFA, the ARU and the NRL.
The facility has been designed with goal posts to cater for a wide variety of sports including, but not limited to:
Soccer
Rugby league
Rugby union
Oz tag
Touch football
The field is also line marked with soccer goals in position for game play.
Behind the field, ample change room facilities for players, referees and sporting staff are available. This includes access to a first aid room and public restroom facilities.
High-Level Rectangular Turf Field
A regional-level turf field designed for high-performance sport, complete with 500 lux lighting and capacity for 3,000+ spectators.
Suitable for soccer, rugby league and rugby union. Includes large change rooms and a seating plan comprising:
800-seat Showground Pavilion
800-seat Parklands Grandstand
600-seat Moorefields Grandstand
