Soul Street is a free, family-friendly event held on New Year’s Eve throughout the centre of Byron Bay. Established in 2014, this much-loved community event brings the streets to life with
food stalls
interactive lighting
world-class entertainment.
Byron Shire Council is seeking to engage an Event Manager to deliver our New Years Eve Soul Street 2026 event.
The Event Manager will be responsible for procurement, coordination, management and delivery of contracted event services and equipment, including but not limited to:
Programming, entertainment and participatory events
Staging
Security services
Site management
Food vendors and waste
Risk Management.
The Event Manager will provide these Services in consultation with Council with Council providing a range of support for the event including traffic control.
Respondents will be required to attend a Site walkthrough at 10.30 am on Monday 11 May.
