Calling all NSW artists, managers and agents to help shape better support for creatives across NSW
Submissions due by 11:59pm on Sunday 20 July 2025
Background
The NSW Government is committed to strengthening support for artists, venues, managers and music workers through the Entertainment Industry Act. A Statutory Review of the Act was conducted in 2022 and resulted in a wide range of recommendations. Some of these recommendations related to specific provisions within the Act and Regulation.
How you can help
We're calling on all NSW artists, managers and agents to have your say on the proposed changes, including fee caps and industry definitions, to help shape better support for creatives across NSW.
We invite you to share your thoughts on the impact of these provisions and suggest any necessary reforms to the legislation. Your feedback, collected through the survey, will guide amendments to the legislation.
