Expressions of interest in working with Sydney Writers’ Festival are open.
)
Expressions of interest in working with Sydney Writers’ Festival are now open. The organisation welcomes EOIs from those interested in collaborating on its flagship annual Festival program or the new year-round program at the State Library of NSW.
In addition to the annual Festival at Carriageworks in May, Sydney Writers’ Festival will deliver a dynamic calendar of events at the State Library of NSW. This partnership marks an exciting initiative to establish a vibrant, ongoing home for writing and ideas in Sydney.
The new program provides opportunities for Sydney Writers’ Festival to collaborate with cultural organisations across New South Wales beyond the annual Festival, fostering new ways to connect writers and thinkers with audiences throughout the state.
Sydney Writers’ Festival seeks collaborations that broaden the scope of its work, support diverse artistic voices, and help grow and diversify its audiences. The Festival strongly encourages applications from individuals and organisations across all communities, including First Nations people, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, d/Deaf and Disabled people, and those from LGBTQIA+ communities.
Events within the State Library program will be held in the 350-seat Library Auditorium and are designed to attract audiences of at least 250 people.
If you are an organisation who would be interested in working with Sydney Writers' Festival, please submit your expression of interest via the website to help understand whether a collaborative event may be possible.
This expression of interest is specifically for cultural organisations and groups. If you are a writer who would like to be featured in the program, please ask your publisher or agent to discuss your work with the Programming team at info@swf.org.au.
