Held across summer 2026/2027, the Waverley Street Art Festival will transform walls, laneways, and public spaces into a dynamic open-air gallery.
Waverley Council are seeking artists who are passionate about activating urban environments through vibrant, large-scale mural works that connect with both community and landscape.
Artists will be asked to respond creatively to the festival theme: A Love Letter to Waverley. All styles and approaches are encouraged. The program supports both emerging and established artists, with a strong emphasis on creativity, vision, and craftsmanship. Selected artists will be allocated key mural sites in Waverley by the Council’s Street Art Festival Panel.
