Kent Street Jam is calling for collaborators!
414 Kent St, Sydney, NSW, 2000
After landing their house band residency through Neon Marketplace, Layla and Mina-Siale are opening up their Saturday night sessions at Kasippu Bar in the YCK Laneways District to feature guest artists.
Every Saturday in June, they’re hosting KSJ - Kent Street Jam: a feel-good, genre-flexible night of live music, crowd interaction, and spontaneous covers. They’re looking to connect with vocalists and musicians of all kinds – pop, soul, jazz, rock, R&B, or anything in between.
These aren’t paid spots – it’s about jumping in for the love of live music. Whether you want to:
Test material in a relaxed setting
Build confidence performing with a band
Promote other gigs or original songs
Connect with new audiences
Or just join in for a fun night out
This is a welcoming, low-pressure chance to do it.
“We want to hear your voice. Come and sing, promote your music, or just vibe with us. It's all about connection and good energy.”
