As a Sydney photographer, I work across arts, culture, night-time activation and community events to help organisations tell their stories with clarity, creativity and authenticity. My work supports venues, councils, cultural programmers and event producers who contribute to the vibrancy of NSW’s 24-hour economy — from major festivals to small neighbourhood activations.
I specialise in capturing the people, places and moments that bring the city to life: performances, exhibitions, installations, creative workshops, community gatherings, cultural celebrations, live music, local venues and the many behind-the-scenes elements that make them possible.
Whether documenting a large-scale public event or profiling the artists and teams who shape it, the focus is on creating images that feel fresh, real and welcoming.

Documenting how people interact, gather and participate within a space
My work aligns closely with the aims of the 24-hour economy initiative: promoting creativity, improving safety and enhancing the cultural life of NSW. Photography plays a key role in helping organisations communicate the value of their events and activities — to communities, stakeholders, participants, partners and funding bodies.
High-quality imagery strengthens:
Event promotion and marketing
Funding reports and grant acquittals
Stakeholder communication
Venue and precinct brand identity
Community engagement and participation
Long-term visual archives that document cultural impact
Alongside event and cultural documentation, I also create natural, approachable portraits for organisations wanting to highlight the people behind their work. This includes headshots of your team, profile imagery for artists and performers, and lifestyle-style portraits that feel more documentary than corporate. These can be captured on location, in-venue or outdoors depending on the aesthetic and story you want to convey.
My goal is to work with minimal footprint while still capturing rich, engaging visual content. I understand the dynamics of live cultural environments — the need to be unobtrusive, responsive and respectful of performers, audiences and staff. Production is streamlined so clients receive a cohesive set of images ready for digital, editorial and archival use.
For over 20 years, I have photographed cultural organisations, arts initiatives, local councils, creative studios, not-for-profits, placemaking teams and event partners across NSW. The work spans everything from intimate community gatherings to late-night city activations and multi-venue festivals.
This experience gives me a strong understanding of risk, logistics, accessibility and the often-complex requirements involved in documenting public-facing cultural activity.
