The Sydney Fringe Festival is the largest independent arts festival in New South Wales.
Sydney Fringe has a bold vision to be celebrated as one of the world’s leading Fringe festivals and we are well on our way! Each September emerging artists and culture creators from all over the city join forces with us to share Sydney’s stories, presenting new work from all genres. Outside of festival time the Sydney Fringe works with public and private sector partners to activate unused space, drive policy and regulatory reform and advocate for independent artists to build a vibrant and sustainable arts, culture and creative industries sector.
We are a not-for-profit, open-access festival which means we welcome all artists, creative people and audiences from all walks of life. Each September culture creators from all over the city join forces with us to demonstrate the type of city they want to live in all year round. Our program is curated by our artists for our audiences. Where else can you see HUNDREDS of world premieres made in your backyard? Or if you are a visitor popping by our beautiful city, what better way to get to know Sydney’s true feelings?
We have four major Precincts we program work in each September: Our Inner West Precinct, Eastern Precinct, Central Precinct and Greater Sydney Precinct. From Parramatta to Bondi, Marrickville to Lane Cove, we bring the festival to where our audiences are. We're looking for hospitality venues and hotels in these Precincts to offer deals & discounts to our Fringe audiences. These will be marketed via our Festival app, website, eDMs, social media, and paid Meta and digital media campaigns. The campaign we run is called "Show Us Your Tix" and it's to encourage audiences to explore local venues before and after their Fringe event.
