This program supports initiatives and activities that enhance social, cultural and sustainable outcomes for the Kiama community. The Donations (small grants) program is a one-off, goodwill, small financial contribution or in-kind support of up to $1000 to eligible community groups and organisations. (total allocation of $15,000 per financial year), with applications accepted all year.
Examples include sporting competitions, small community events, healthy lifestyle programs and initiatives.
This program aims to:
Improve the quality of life for individuals and community groups from diverse backgrounds
Facilitate community participation in local initiatives
Enhance social, cultural and sustainable outcomes for local communities.
Develop and support community capacity building, education and awareness
