SYDNEY IN ME started as a group chat where people shared free fun events happening around them. To document them all, a handful with access to the getsome.sydneyinme@gmail.com Google account add each event into the calendar and provide the link back to the source for more information and free RSVP tickets.
The GET SOME Sydney In Me tool is a web-based app which simply links locals and visitors to useful info, discounts & free fun. It has been shared by word of mouth only and has reached thousands of people. The landing page receives more than 20,000 hits per day, from new and recurring visitors.

To be listed, your event must also offer at least one of the following:

Discounted Entry A special "SYDNEYINME" promo code must be set up for your ticketed event. The discount must be more than 30% off, or offer other perks such as free food etc. The total of the ticket with discount applied must be under $50.
WHY?
We only share events which hold value for the platforms purpose to avoid saturation. This free service allows events with small budgets to reach a wide demographic of people who are likely to attend.
The users of the GET SOME Sydney In Me tool are professionals working in the city, international university students, expats, hospitality workers, and all other types of people living around the city of all ages over 18 looking for something to do something without breaking their budget.
