Manuela Serje is a multidisciplinary artist and playful creative facilitator who creates hands-on art experiences designed to get people making, connecting and having a genuinely good time!
Based in Marrickville, Manuela can host groups of up to 30 people in her own workshop space, or bring workshops directly to your venue. She has facilitated creative events and classes for groups of up to 120 people and regularly works across private events, hens parties, birthdays, team building, corporate and professional settings, community organisations and LGBTQ+ spaces.
Her workshops can be energetic, silly and playful, or slower and more mindful, depending on the group and occasion. Participants can create personal functional pieces to take home and use, or collaborate on larger communal and interactive artworks, such as painted or ceramic murals for homes, workplaces and shared spaces.
Manuela teaches clay, ceramics, painting, drawing, sculpture and a wide range of creative activities, and loves developing customised workshops around a group's interests. She has worked with children, adults, professional teams and NDIS participants, and brings an adaptable, inclusive and encouraging approach to every session.
She is passionate about creating spaces where people feel comfortable being silly, trying something new and getting their hands dirty. Workshops can also be facilitated in Spanish.
